2016-2017 - Get Covered - HHREC partners with the California Black Health Network to conduct community outreach and education to increase Medi-Cal enrollment in underserved communities.

2013-2015 - Covered California - a series of neighborhood block parties, outreach to community events, presentations, and neighborhood visits to provide education about the historic healthcare initiative, the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare)

 

2008-2015 - TAY Creativity Classes - creativity classes (writing, visual art, field trips, discussions) for transition age youth transitioning out of the foster care system, designed by Adriana Diaz - with ACBHCS TAY System of Care

 

2007-2009 - Mental Health Wellness Center implementation - logo design, coordination/implementation of forum on bridging co-occurring diagnoses, general support - with ACBHCS Wellness HUB

 

2007-2008 - Berkeley Mental Health/ MHSA PEI assessment - outreach and assessment to support BMH's strategic plan for the use of MHSA PEI funding - with Berkeley Mental Health

 

2007-2008 - MHSA Prevention & Early Intervention assessment - county-wide outreach and assessment to support ACBHCS' strategic plan for the use of Mental Health Services Act PEI funding - with ACBHCS

 

2005-2007 - State Incentive Grant on Binge Drinking - county-wide needs assessments, and data collection on binge drinking for ACBCS AOD Youth Survey, and creation of youth-specific billboard campaign - with ACBHCS

 

2006 - Alameda County Strategic Plan for Prevention - facilitated planning process and conducted needs assessment for county's alcohol & other drug prevention strategic plan - with ACBHCS

 

2005 - Grief Cards for Victims' (of homocide) Families design - resource cards for police to give families in the moment they're told their loved one has been killed - with ACBHCS and Councilwoman Desley Brooks

 

2004 - Quick Guide for Caregivers - focus groups and creation of info/resource guide for those caring for a friend or family member with mental illness - with ACBHCS and family member groups

 

1999-2001 - "Change is Hard" CalWorks media campaign - conducted a needs assesment, then designed/launched a billboard campaign and created a short film to increase awareness of/access to CalWorks benefits - with ACBHCS

 

1994 - Children Who Have Died Of Violence Memorial Flag design - a special call for art to design this flag to honor those children in Alameda County who have died of violence - with Supervisor Gail Steele
