Community Advisory Boards

HHREC all-volunteer Community Advisory Boards meet once a month, usually over dinner, working with program staff to bring a community-based voice to the daily program work. The collective heart, joy and dedication of these groups continue to inspire. Click below to read about the individual CABs.

Artists / Interns / Volunteers

ARTISTS: Health Through Art is looking for artivists and lovers of art interested in helping to place social message art in various media venues through out Alameda County and the Bay area. Meetings are held once a month in a family friendly art loving atmosphere.

INTERNSHIPS: HHREC is a great place for students to experience internships that will involve them in community-based projects and learning how a non-profit operates. Programs are always accepting applications for internships.

VOLUNTEERS: HHREC programs are always in need of volunteers to assist with outreach, program implementation and education efforts. If you are interested in volunteering for any program, contact the lead of that program for more information.
